Results of the 2024 judicial foreclosure property tax sale were revealed during the Shawnee County Commission work session.

Title work was executed for 315 properties but once the petition was filed, 257 properties were listed.

155 of those properties were redeemed before the tax sale began meaning $1,421,162 of delinquent taxes previously owed by those locations were paid off, along with $77,500 of court costs.

77 properties were left to be sold at the tax sale auction and by the end, $357,967 of those delinquent taxes and $42,000 in court costs were paid off.
