MIAMI, FL. – May 13th, 2014 –National Tax Lien Association (NTLA) Executive Director Brad Westover and Treasurer Gary Branse traveled to Miami with a donation check of four thousand dollars ($4,000) to the Habitat for Humanity. The NTLA chose Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami as the charity to receive the donation in early 2014. Since 1989, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami has helped change the lives of nearly 1000 families in Miami-Dade County. They are focused on changing their community by providing low-income families with homeownership opportunity. The NTLA felt confident that it was a deserving organization who shared aligning goals that would put the money to good use.
“We believe in investing in America’s communities through funding local government delinquent tax roles and through charitable donations.” said Brad Westover, Executive Director, National Tax Lien Association.
"I know that our friends at Habitat for Humanity are incredibly appreciative of this donation," reflects Brad. "This contribution will help them accomplish their goals, and we know that every dollar will be spent to help those in need."
