The Dodge County treasurer is highlighting resources that may be available for delinquent taxpayers. Kris Keith says if you are behind on your real estate taxes, then expect a ‘Notice of Real Estate Tax Due’ to arrive in your mailbox this month (May).

She notes that while the treasurer’s office does not offer any financial assistance, or interest or penalty forgiveness, they can steer you to some resources that may help. If you are a veteran, you may be eligible to receive the Veterans and Surviving Spouses Property Tax Credit. Call Dodge County’s Veterans Services Office at 920-386-3799 to learn more.
