Role Overview

The Investment Analyst evaluates opportunities at county tax lien and tax deed auctions and in secondary market offerings, confirms each deal meets due diligence standards, and sets "bid up to" values for each lien and its underlying property. The Analyst works with the Chief Investment Officer, who directs when bids are placed, within strict capital and compliance limits.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-person and online tax lien and tax deed auctions, with occasional travel
• Apply bidding strategies based on set criteria, budgets, and yield thresholds
• Monitor auctions and adjust bids within approved parameters
• Record bids, wins, and results accurately in real time
• Submit post-auction reports, documentation, and receipts on time
• Coordinate on auction outcomes, redemptions, and follow-up
• Follow compliance requirements and company protocols

• Availability for in-person and online auctions
• Ability to manage assigned capital responsibly
• Comfort making quick decisions in fast-paced settings
• Strong quantitative skills and advanced Excel proficiency
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliability, independence, and a record of meeting deadlines
• Genuine interest in real estate and investment management
