Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Foreclosure Specialist to manage tax lien assets from acquisition through the pre-foreclosure and redemption period. This role is responsible for tracking statutory timelines, coordinating with attorneys and vendors, and ensuring all required actions are completed to move assets toward redemption or foreclosure.

This is a remote, flexible role suited for individuals who can independently manage a pipeline of assets while maintaining strict compliance with state-specific requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a pipeline of tax lien and tax deed accounts across multiple states
  • Track critical statutory deadlines (redemption periods, notice requirements, foreclosure eligibility dates)
  • Review and maintain accurate property, ownership, and lien data
  • Order and track O&E reports, and tax status updates
  • Coordinate with attorneys, title companies, and county offices to initiate and advance foreclosure actions
  • Monitor and document redemptions, payoffs, and reinstatements
  • Prepare and submit internal reports on asset status, timelines, and next steps
  • Maintain organized digital files and ensure compliance with company SOPs
  • Identify issues (title defects, bankruptcies, etc.) and escalate appropriately

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadline-driven workflows
  • Ability to handle multiple assets across different states simultaneously
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (tracking, filtering, basic formulas)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and follow state-specific legal timelines and processes

Preferred Experience:

  • Tax lien / tax deed investing
  • Foreclosure processing or default servicing
  • Title, escrow, or real estate transaction coordination
  • Familiarity with multi-state compliance and legal workflows

Compensation:
